I want to replace my laptop with a portable small form factor pc that can accept standard sized parts since I would like to be able to upgrade it in the future.

When looking, I came across the Cyberpower's Fang BattleBox, specifically the R9X variant (would love to upgrade to the I980 but since the goal is to build two, the $3800 with taxes out of the question).

Home built wise, I would like to get similar stats as the battlebox and would prefer to have a case roughly the size of the CM 130 Elite or Thermaltake Core V1.

If anyone in the community has the time, can you please provide me a build that could work for around $1200 with stats similar to the R9X Battlebox?

Location of the build would be the US.

You could also go with slim micro-atx set up as well. I know some of the slim ones are set up to have the graphics card at a 90 degree angle. You could also go with a CM 110 Elite and go with a short graphics cards. Hopefully the GTX 960 will be able a short build. Here is what I came up with:

Mini-ITX build

Just attach a handle to the case and you are golden.

Btw the PSU is only 70 bucks right now. with the savings you could go up to an i7. And yes you can overclock this, but I would get more airflow in there before doing that.
