Is good CPU, but not really for high end gaming.

It will do it and do it OK, but usually intel Core i5 does it better.

Good choice.

Budget gaming is usually AMD's territory, but high end is Intel's. Any of the Haswell Core i5 will do great.

Good luck.

8320 does better than i5 on passmark scores, and its cheaper. Also if you multi task (play game while listening to music and have a web browser open) 8320 will do better. I just built an amd system for my father in law and he plays hitman absolution and sniper elite 3 on ultra with no problems. Just get a good cooler like a hyper 212 evo and a 990fx motherboard.

I've got an FX 4130 and play everything that I've bought recently on highest settings. It's really your GPU that bottlenecks most of your games.

TBH you can get an i5 4670 or an FX 6300 as long as you have a r9 280 + video card you can play all those 1080p games on ultra with great FPS. Go ahead and get an i5 but if you don't know how to overclock, get the locked one which is cheaper and the H87 motherboard not the z87. Trying to save you some money.

Yeah I've got a 270x and the only game I notice a drop in FPS EVER is Crysis 3 on ultra (1920x1200)
