I have an MSI card that cannot be separated from its fan without breaking the seal (sticker) that is on the screw which will void the warranty if it is broken. How do I go about cleaning off the dust without using an compressed gas duster. i'm worried i might get water on the card if i use a compressor

I would use compressed air and just let it air out for a bit before putting it back into your system. Watch TV, Go outside, Grab a snack. Then put it back into your system and you should be fine.

It most certainly would. Store brand would be fine. They are all made of the same ingredients essentially and all clean electronics equally well. $6 sounds like a nice sale. Run with it and have a great day! :-)
