I have an Asus EeePC netbook, and it used to run modified Windows XP. I recently had to change the hard drive, and the guy who did it installed Windows 7 on it. Since then, my netbook is really laggy, and some commands (like FN+f6) doesn't work. Also, the batery runs out much quicker, and none games work (previously, GTA Vice City worked like a charm). Does anyone know where coud I get the modified Windows XP, or at least the list of drivers/plugins? I don't want to spend money on a new copy of Windows.

Modified how????

How could we possibly get you a link or any info on how to obtain this modified xp when you have listed no information on what it is called or even what the modificaions are.

Or by modified do you mean an illegal hacked version that you can patch the license key vaidator?

Are you seeking the original XP that was installed on the Asus? If so, you should contact Asus for the possibility of getting original recovery disks with XP. Asus should also provide drivers for this device. Just check their support site.

Otherwise, we really can't point you to unofficial sources. Tom's Hardware does not support any form of software piracy. None. Period.
