This is what I have going on.
If I install more than 3GB of ram, on startup the CPU pegs out at 100% till windows has fully loaded and all programs have launched. After that it fluctuates wildly between 40 and 100%.
If I have 3GB or less installed, it operates normally.
It does not matter what sticks I use, 4x1GB, 2x2GB, 2x512MB 1x2GB 1x1GB, all combinations cause the CPU to fluctuate and peg out.
Any combination under 3GB is stable. 3x1GB, 1x2GB 2x512MB, 2x1GB 2x512MB, 4x512MB.
I have updated my BIOS to 901
I have set the ram speed manually (5-5-5-15)
I have not reinstalled windows, I get errors/ long wait times (like the processor is busy)
Thoughts?

System:

(ram at my disposal)
G.skill 2gb 5-5-5-15 (two sticks)
G.skill 1gb 5-5-5-15 (two stick)
OCZ 512mb (four sticks)

Check the pages in your user manual related to memory. It has rules and conditions based on size, single sided and double sided configurations and what slots you can populate with what.

My guess would be you are trying to use all double-sided memory.

Looks like you are right.
"This Motherboard dose not support memory made up of 2048 MB chips or double x16 modules."

But it is running 3x1GB double sided 16 chip sticks right now...

It will run one, two or three 1GB sticks but not two 2GB sticks.
Ideas?

-EDIT-
Looks like running 4x1GB single sided sticks has the same effect as with the two sided sticks.
