Would a Intel Pentium Dual Core G2030 LGA 1155 Processor work with a specific motherboard?

Would an Intel Pentium Dual Core G2030 LGA 1155 Processor BX80637G2030, work with an MSI CSM-H61M-P32/W8 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard? It says its for Intel H61 Processors and mentions its compatible with 2nd gen (Sandy Bridge) intel processors but can it work with Ivy bridge (3rd Gen) processors? I just want to know

Yes, if they use the same socket (LGA1155) then they are for sure compatibe, so yes.

I was assuming, I just was kind of worried because it didn't mention compatibility with Ivy Bridge processors but it is the same socket

At most a BIOS update may be required to utilize all of the processor's capabilities.
