For the past month I've been researching about building a new gaming PC, particularly one that runs games like Battlefield 4, or the new Shadow of Morder, and the new Assasin's creed on the highest settings. The problem is I don't have any knowledge or time to build one due to school.

I would probably say my budget is $1600, so with that in mind I have found the site Ironside and have started messing around and seeing what I want. The links below are screenshots of my Ideas.

I'm also quite nooby when it comes to this stuff sorry, and future thanks.

Heres a good website that lets you build a PC http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/. I found this very useful when sorting out what I want in my build. Essentially it just lays out the core components you need for a PC and lets you pick from a list of options for the parts that you want.

Your first link is a better setup and is more balanced. You only need an i5 for gaming purposes, there is no need for an i7 there is no extra benefits for the cost.
If you playing at 1080p and want ultra settings, get at least a GTX 770 or GTX 970 but nothing below that since you want ultra settings at playable frame rates.
You are overpaying for having it prebuilt.

I am currently building a parts list on the site provided by "ptrickono", also thanks Suztera with your answer, I'm looking at getting a GTX 970 but there are several options, including normal, ASX, Superclocked ASX, and Superclocked ASX 2.0, which one would be better.

It sounds like the Superclocked ASX 2.0 would be the best in terms of performance because of the factory overclock.

Thanks legend I used yours to base mine, I did go more excessive, and I also got a few things I didn't need. Please let me know if this is a good part list because I actually talked with some of my family and they were like we might pitch in so yeah, I would appreciate input on things that I could change for the same out come but for a lower price.

Again not exactly a professional lol

Why 2 TB of SSD? I highly disagree with 2 TB of SSD man you can get 120GB of SSD for your OS and some game and then your movie files and pictures should be on HDD. I also think a sound card is not necessary for the MOBO supports TRUE HD technology.

Okay so I've changed some things lol, and fixed things that were bugging me, I still need to figure out what Storage, and what wireless network adapter I want, I know wireless for gaming isn't the best thing in the world but for now I don't have the means to get hard line.

For the Storage I'm looking to get a SSD because they access things a bit quicker, and I'm looking for around 600GB of strorage, because that's what my current PC's size, and it's perfect for the amount of stuff I need to put on it, I can add more later if needed.

Also the Wireless card.....I'm trying to find one that isn't ridiculously big, and still does a great job, other then that any recommendations would be cool.

There is inconsistency in your build. Your memory speed is 2133Mhz which does not support by Haswell, change your RAM to 1866.

If you prefer SSD then go for it. :)

I cannot comment more for wireless card for I`m not legible for that matter.
