I often get computer freezes at random times. I Have replaced many parts on my pc and the freezing occurs rarer. The computer just stops working and makes this horrible sound. This happens anywhere from 3 times a day to once a week. It usually happens when I'm at the home screen of a specific game, Counter Strike. But it still happens at other times.

Computer is prebuilt by asus but lots of parts replaced
os: windows 7 home premium
cpu: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz

Where is the noise coming from? What component? - Replace it.

What temp is your CPU running at? - from bios/uefi, at idle and while gaming

The noise comes from my headphones, not the computer.
Idle temp for cpu 37 °C
Let me go check for gaming

Try another pair of headphones.

Check in Control Panel, Device Manager if your audio devices are working properly and their drivers are up to date.

37C idle is OK.

gaming its around 45°C I'm gonna continue and see if it rises and I don't think it's the headphones because I've been through several pairs and I've had this problem since the day i had my pc. But I will check drivers.

Gaming temp is OK.

Do a Checkdisk and Virus scan (eg Avast, Malwarebytes)

What should i be looking for in a Checkdisk? i ran it and no errors came up. And i just ran Malwarebytes and it said it found about 110 errors so i quarantined everything. I saved the log in a notepad file.

If Checkdisk had errors it'd be interesting.

Check in Control Panel, Device Manager if your audio devices are working properly and their drivers are up to date.

See if you still get problems once you've finished the virus scan.
