I am using a MSI 970A-G43 motherboard
AMD FX 6350 CPU
Memory Kingston Fury 1866 MHz (2) 4 Gig, in slots 2&4
Every thing is up to date. Could any one guide me through the bios so I can use the full 1866 MHz. That would be really great, thank you.

If you have the option in the Bios to enable XMP, that'll solve your problem.

Because it's DDR .... Double Data Rate ... what you see in CPUz is only half the speed .... you gotta double it..... In GPUz, double it twice :)

Here's as JackNaylorPE stated, you need to double the frequency show in CPU-Z:

If you look at DRAM Frequency, do times 2 and it will give you the it's currently running at.
In my case, 803.7 x 2 = ~1600Mhz at it's rated speed.

Thank's very much for your quick reply. I would really like to know where to find XMP in the bios to enable it.
I am using OC Genie 2, that will be great.

What is your current DRAM frequency? If it's at half of the 1866, your RAM is running at the proper speed since the speed is doubled.

It's usually on 1st page of the BIOS when in advanced mode. Remember tho XMP is an intel thing so will be named different (AMP).

Start on page 2-13

i have vengeance ram at 1600mhz.. my ram is DDR 3.. it defaults to 1333mhz in my bios, but theres is an option to enable different settings.. google your bios and look for the option to maximise the ram frequency
