Can someone please help me? I put my PC parts in a new case, but when I go to test the power and press the power button, the power supply blinks on for a second, but then shuts off. Can someone please help me figure out what's wrong, I'm so frustrated right now. I hope that I didn't break anything...

Here is the quick checklist: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-ste...

Make sure you verify each step - something more than likely isn't plugged in properly.

I have the 8 pin connector plugged into the ATX 12v and everything seems to be plugged in correctly. I will take it apart and try again, but I just don't know whats going on. The mother board is the Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H

I am assuming that all the components existed in the old case prior to this "upgrade" - so usually this would be something not plugged in correctly. If you purchased any new parts other than the case - you might want to breadboard (taken out of the case and laid out on a table with only PSU, mobo, CPU and RAM) and test it Also - did you install the standoffs?

Thank you and everyone else who commented, I fixed the issue. I had one of the fans plugged into the second CPU fan cooler, I'm such a noob lol. This was quite the learning experience though. I appreciate all the help.
