I'm looking to buy a new gpu to replace my msi 7770. and so i decided nvidia. first i was going to buy a amd r9 28, then a 760 then a 770 then a 780... NOW I DECIDED A 970. So I went to look and I find a lot are out of stock. So i'm wondering what would be better...

So either the Zotac 790:

or the EVGA 790 ssc:

I like them a lot and they have excellent customer service and warrenties. They are the same company that produces sapphire AMD cards. I have two of the zotac 970`s you linked to, and they run excellent under a full load... with the hottest being about 78 c with the fan speed at 75 %.

I am still thinking about it. The Zotac was my top choice due to cost, size and it seems like a solid choice overall. (No EVGA like issues.)

They come in and out of stock a lot. My other choice if I got a GTX 970 was the MSI, but fear it wouldn't fit in my mid tower case.

So are these cards loud or is there much coil whine?
also would you recommend any other cards over it?
