Would download and run that. You need to transfer your installed OS from your current boot drive to the new SSD. Then, you may need to go into your BIOS and tell your BIOS to boot from your new SSD (instead of the HDD).

The Samsung SSDs should come with a DVD that has the migration software on it to transfer your OS to the new SSD from the old HDD.If you need the OS - what version do you have? You can download the ISO and install it on the SSD....as long as you have a valid product key.
Thanks ronin texts for the input, but my question if guys bear with me here since I know I'm being a pain is how do I clone my os to my ssd from my old hdd if I already have the migration tool? Will migrating my hdd files to ssd delete everything on hdd once I'm done? Cause my ssd doesn't have enough space to clone all the files I just want the os windows 7 and bf4 and dayz on it.

The data that is not moved will stay on the HDD. It does not reformat it.Oh okay so it says Im over my ssd capacity by 94gb but it won't let me go any further than that does it mean I have to delete 94gb worth of stuff cause I don't really want to do that cause I pretty much deleted everything I'm willing to part with is there any other way?because I plan to have both my ssd and hdd in my pc for use

Do you have your libraries selected to move? (videos, music, documents, pictures, etc) I would leave those on the HDD. Also, I remember that the system assumes all folders in the root of the hard drive are defaulted to being transferred. Other than Programs - do you have data stored on the drive (i.e. maybe some misc files in C:\Wedding_Pictures (or something like that) that can be moved to the user folders?

There is another free product: http://www.easeus.com/download/epmf-download.html
They give you a bit more control over the migration.

Okay so now it works. I cloned my hdd since I got it to be a size small enough to my ssd. I also ran it with ahci in bios after I used regedit to fix the files to let me run it that way cause without using regedit I kept getting bsod at the windows load up emblem. I set my ssd to performance so it is wicked fast I love it! But my last question is since both my ssd and hdd are showing up they contain both the same files but my ssd is almost full with this cloning is there anyway I can deleted all the files but on my ssd and just put games on it now since my hdd has these same files or will it delete both of their files?

You can delete files off your hard drive. They are two separate drives - so deleting on one doesn't remove it from the other.
You can move some of the files off the SSD to the HDD - IF THEY ARE PROGRAMS - make sure you uninstall it on the SSD, then install it on the HDD.
On my system, I have the Program Files, Windows and a few other folders. I moved my documents and other data files to the HDD (a MP3 won't load faster on the SSD....LOL).
Here is a step-by-step on how to move your data folders: http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/support-software/Movin...

Thanks I just decided to drag the files from my ssd to my hdd. Please tell me if that is correct before I delete everything that I dragged over off my ssd since I think it is on my hdd also how do I tell which files are for certain games I want to keep on there and my os

Programs will need to be reinstalled that were moved (if they were on the HDD and moved to the SSD in the migration - you should be fine).
Data files just need to be moved - you will need to update your library locations so when you save files it defaults to the right area.
As long as the files live on either drive- you can always move them again....just make sure they are on one or the other.
