I am putting together a budget gaming pc, this is my build so far

Is it good?

I know I will need a better PSU, I was thinking the XFX TS 550w

Would that be enough or will I need at least 600w?

I am planning on getting a R9 280x or GTX 770 depending on what I learn here, but I was wondering if the 6300 will bottleneck the GPU, I am planning on overclocking the CPU a bit

More about : 6300 280x gtx 770 1080p

OCed 6300 won't bottleneck. Get the 280X. It's about equal to the 770 and has more VRAM for future games. You can even OC it to beat a 770. 550w would be cutting it very close though

So a 650w bronze would be sufficient?

I agree grabbing a 280x isn't a bad idea over a 2gb 770 550w will be OK if your really aren't pushing everything to the limit
