i have an ASUS M11BB desktop. the BIOS is american megatrends version 0403 dated at 12/24/2013. is there ANY WAY WHATSOEVER i can hack the BIOS and unlock it so i can access any hidden settings that may be there to allow overclocking? any links to other websites? if any information can be given, i'd really appreciate it. and yes, i am willing to take the risk and i see it as worth it, just to answer any questions about if i want to take the risk or people telling me it's not worth it

What are your bios writing skills? If you know what you are doing then it's possible. I've never wrote one, so no clue.

So spare me the hassle of looking up that computer, what's inside it?

The specs for the computer are as follows:

CPU: A8-6500 APU at 3.5GHz

RAM: Single stick of 8GB DDR3 1600MHz

Mobo: F2A55-M

I want to overclock the memory to make it go faster for the APU and maybe OC the CPU and GPU within the APU a little, just for an extra boost and to test my hand at overclocking

What you describe is sometimes possible, but often not. Check the Asus forums to see if someone has released a modified firmware image that unlocks features that Asus has locked out. If not, then you're basically SOL.

the model on my motherboard is F2A55-M/M11BB/OP_MB and ASUS does make a motherboard with the model F2A55-M. is it safe to download anything meant for F2A55-M and use it on the board inside my desktop? is it still the same board or not?

No it isn't. Firmware is board specific.

i just found out that the F2A55-M/CSM is the "aftermarket" version of my board. seriously, it's the same exact board, refer to this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2091361/bios-upd... and check the 5th reply. so would a BIOS update for this work on my board and since it's an aftermarket board, enable me to overclock?

Maybe, maybe not. Your best bet would be to send an email to Asus support and have their own engineers answer that question. Firmware is so specific that even a very small change in board design can cause problems.
