I just built my computer a few days ago and the first thing I noticed when I started playing games is that when something moves fast the screen flickers, and its really hard to ignore. Im sending it back and I'm buying another one tomorrow, can someone give me some good suggestions? I dont care about size. I just need one that wont flicker or have any ghosting.

Here is the monitor I currently have.

That seems to be a pretty good monitor. Are you sure your graphics settings and refresh rate was set correctly? The only "better" monitors ar the 144Hz monitors or the monitors with the Nvidia sync feature.

How would I edit the settings? The flickering is even worse on YouTube when im watching music videos. I dont know how to fix it.

Well, that's VGA. Pretty much the lowest tier connection you can get. Might be sufficient for 1920x1080, but just barely.

Check this image, check the values for refresh rate and color on your monitor and report back.

I sent that monitor back to newegg I got a 23 inch Dell one now and I bought DVI cable but I when I try to power everything on it won't the monitor says going to power saving mode. I tried the VGA cable it came with and it does the same thing.

I accidentally packed my DVI to VGA adapter that came with my GPU in the BenQ box I dropped off at UPS. I'm about to go pick it up from their warehouse. I don't know if that has anything I do with it.
