Modem Needed or Not??

Iam using Fiber Broadband Connection which does not needed modem it directly connects with PC, now am purchasing WiFi ROUTER will i need to purchase modem or not needed???

If you can currently hook a PC to the incoming internet connection with just a ethernet cable that means you can hook a router to the same connection.

Their is some device providing the function of a modem in your house already. There is always a device that is going to convert the incoming fiber to copper. If the ISP chooses to operate that way it can work with just this device so you may have a "modem" it may just be called a ONT.
