Which Computer Should I Buy?

Hi all,
Long time no see!:pt1cable: 
Can you guys recommend a laptop for me?I have been thinking of the Asus GL551 but i am not sure as Asus didn't really mention whether it has a IPS screen or not.:bounce: 
I will be using it for Presentation,Gaming,Video Editing and other media stuff :p 
I will be using Microsoft Office alot as i am a student. The games i will be playing are the following:
-Minecraft -Gmod -3D Programming -BF4
My price range is within $1000-1300.

The major complaint I came across while perusing reviews was the screen of that model. It is not an IPS display and more than one reviewer complained about the display needing "the right angle" to be viewed well. Even with that shortcoming, it is a recommended product so...
I looked at other laptops that may offer more performance but couldn't stay within your budget cap.

Take a look at this site www.xoticpc.com

They have a good selection of laptops, can be easily sorted by price. The only issues is that there are a lot of very similar models there, but at least many of them have good parts and it's easy to see the video cards they have.

An excellent suggestion, I will add one thing here. When looking at laptop models there consider that the Sager/Clevo models do not include an OS in the price - it has to be added as an option so add ~$100 to the Sager model list price. Virtually all others do include the OS in the price (this is not unique to XoticPC but something to be aware of)
