Hello everyone. i have Q6600 gtx 260 4 gb ram asus p5q motherboard, using cooler master 600W psu.
since couple of weeks pc is giving me problems now. Problem is like this:
i start my pc, asus logo will show and it will restart, it will keep doing this for 3 4 times then it will go to windows, after 10 15 mins it will again restart and sometimes it will get stuck on startup and will keep restarting or it will go to windows.Now yesterday my pc worked for whole day without this problem. Day before yesterday it reatartrd couple of times.
But today its new it keep getting restarted on startup which never happened before.
also i have noticed, when its restarting at startup somtimes i will get no display, but it comes back after couple of restarting, also i have noticed the fans i have installed would run at very high RPM than usual then pc will restart and they would run at normal rpm.
Now im trying to remember this problem start when electric supply company all of a sudden increased voltages as a result my 2 iPad chargers were burnt alone with our fridge and a tv.
After that i think this problem is coming in my pc.
There r no error beeps etc.. just restarting.
i have tried changing rams, i tried a new PSU yesterday.i tried taking everything out of pc, letf only gpu and processor and started the pc but there were no beeps, i tried starting it without rams also.no beeps.i have also reapplied thermal paste to processor.
Any idea whats going on?
