My g/f at work has an HP w2338h monitor.

I have used 3 different monitors, all Samsung actualy:
1) http://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-syncmaster-923nw-lcd-monitor-19-series/specs/
2) http://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-syncmaster-245bw/specs/
3) http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/computer-peripherals/monitors/consumer/LS22C350HS/XK?subsubtype=series-3-led
BUT.....none look as good as her 4 yr old HP!! On her monitor, the colors are all very vibrant, glossy screen, as if I was looking at plasma screen or a great old CRT tv.
ANY recommendations as to what to buy if I want something new, that actually looks like that HP? I've looked at buying a used one, but I am always weary about buying something like that used, not knowing what you are really getting. Used they go for $90-$150.
Thanks.
