Good day, everyone!
I've only ever had a laptop and it's getting noticeably slower, but it's probably because it just can't keep up with the more demanding tasks I've been doing for a while now. So I've decided it's finally time to go get myself a PC rig... unfortunately, with just a $800 $1100 budget. The build would be used for extensive stuff (I can't really say since I like exploring different things from watching movies, heavy editing, to gaming)
I did a bit of research and found that an i7 is ideal for video and image editing (and I do a lot of that) so I'd want it in the build. Since this is my first PC, I don't have a monitor either, so we need to take that into account (preferably a 22"). I heard there's some compatibility stuff regarding motherboards, so I'd like one that would be compatible with future upgrades since I just might do that. About the video card... like I said earlier, I might do upgrades, and I heard this one is mainly used for games (which I probably won't be doing anytime soon), so we could probably compromise here for the budget. Actually... is it possible in a build not to have any graphics card? If so, can't we just leave this out for now and I'll just get one when I upgrade? And one last thing, I need wifi for this build, so that's one wifi adapter.
The rest, feel free to throw in your suggestions

Also it is i7, it will be great for editing especially with the extra ram. Also, the r9 280 is great for moderate/high gaming settings and will run anything quite easily with the combo of the i7.
