Hi there!

I'm trying to build a gaming pc and I have, after a lot of research, a list of components for my PC.
Now I'm curious what other people think of it, because it's my first computer so I dont have a lot of experience. So if there is anything that isn't right or not recommended, please let me know :)

I already have a Samsung S24D590PLX monitor

Case: Cooler Master Elite 430 USB 3.0
PSU: Corsair RM550
CPU: AMD fx8350
Koeling: Cooler Master Hyper TX3EVO
Moederboard: Asus Sabertooth fx990 R2.0 AM3+
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP-1600 2x4gb
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD: Seagate Desktop 500GB 3.5 inch
Optische schijf: Samsung SH-224DB
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

Thanks for your help!

Why do you want the GTX 670 when you're planning to build a NEW PC. there are other better performing GPUs at the same range. What's your budget for GPU?

Well because that card usually costs around 400 EUR, and I got it for like 150EUR. And a GTX670 performs better then a 750 or 760 which I had before. (I checked some benchmarks). And My budget is around 900EUR

Okay then. Do you plan to overclock in future?

Yes it will definately an option, once I know exactly how to do it. But my first step is to build the PC itself.

But is it okay to buy a 150EUR GTX670 instead of a newer one because I dont think I will get a better one for that price tag

I would say get a 1tb hdd and the 550w would be fine even if you overclock

600 W minimum for CPU + GPU overclocking. Fine with 550 W too. I'm saying for Future-proof.

So the power is okay? I think I will go for the seasonic instead because it has more watts for the same price.

I will consider 1tb but I think 500gb is enough for me for now, hdd's are not so expensive.

Yes, that's why i posted that seasonic unit. It has more wattage for lesser price than other units.

keep in mind that games are begining to take 50+gb of space so you really will need more space pretty soon I would say but HDD are only going down in price and who knows maybe we will be getting 1tb ssd's.

Yes, more power consumption, old architecture, but still good enough to take all games. Since you're getting for lesser price, no probs :)
