Intel Core i7-4790K or Xeon E3-1246 v3??

First let me thanks to amazing forum which always helps me when ever I asked computer related problem to Google found solution on Toms Hardware :)
Now coming to my question that I am building PC for small office and my usage will be(web development, MS office, SEO software, photoshop and illustrator. This PC will be shared with 3 more users with N computing virtualization. My use is not gaming of course but Core i7-4790K is in my list because it has higher clock speed and better graphics then Xeon E3-1246 v3 but people said Xeon processors are better for office and processors with K are only for gaming. Please help me to chose correct one.

Also suggest me motherboard according to your selected processor. Here is the rest of Hardware let me know if you have any suggestion over it.

If the i7 is considerably more expensive than the Xeon, I don't think it's worth the price. Sure, it has a higher clock speed but are you likely to notice? Likewise, do you need a processor with an unlocked multiplier? The i7 is faster, but the Xeon isn't a slouch. In the real world, the difference can probably be measured in miliseconds.

The iGPU on both processors are much the same, so don't let that be a deciding factor. Photoshop (not Elements) and Illustrator can both utilise a GPU, but you need a discrete one for that.

If money's no object, then get the i7 by all means, but the Xeon makes more sense overall.

You might want to take a look at Xeon features, determine if you need them, and compare with the i7.

Generally the i7 has higher stock/boost frequency in addition to being unlocked. So if you going for raw performance i7 should be clear winner... but you got to pay more for it.

but here I am talking about this particular Xeon E3-1246 v3 which have same L3 cache, same number of cores and same number of threads so got confused there.

Xeons are meant to live well under constant heavy load, so they are more reliable. Also ECC memory support.

The i7 can be overclock and its natively higher core speed. I guess if you are going to split use among 4 people that would matter more.

So get the i7.

thanks to both of you for help I will go with i7 because there only $50 price difference which not considerable when you are going to spend $1000+

Now the final question which Mob will best for Core i7-4790K?? I had searched this thing but they are building gaming RIG and my purpose is different so please suggest me according to that. Asus, ASRock and Gigabyte preferred.

If you're going for the i7, a motherboard with a Z97 chipset makes sense as you'll be able to overclock. Besides that, there's no particular reason to choose one Z97 motherboard over another, just make sure it has the required ports, connectors and slots.

One thing I've noticed from your original build is that you have four monitors, but the i7 only supports a maximum of three, so you'll need to budget for a graphics card or some splitters.

yes I am also thinking about mob with Z97 chipset and Gigabyte Z97 D3H is in my mind for now but couldn't find enough reviews so looking for expert advise. can you suggest me one?
also I am going to run only 4 displays 1 main and 3 are connected via L300 N Computing device http://www.ncomputing.com/products/lseries/tech-specs
I can connect up to 100 without graphics card. :)
