Hello,

Please take a look and tell me if everything is compatible. I'm sure it all fits together but there may be a bottle neck I've overlooked.

Questions/ Uncertainties I have:

I'm looking to make a home PC that does everything "alright".
A gaming and photo editing station.

Cooling:
Do I need to get a reference GTX 970 for a water block to fit?
Would getting a water block for the GPU(s) be a good idea? (there may be 2 in the future)
Im not sure if water block fit in SLI or if PSUs support it

Wifi:
Is the WI-FI card the best choice?

Storage:
Is Raid 0 worth it for this build? (word on the internet is not really)
but if it was are there better ssd?
Or should I wait for SATA Express drives in Raid 0? (use other drives laying around in the mean time)

Front i/o:
Whats a good best things to place in the 5.25" bays. Lots of people leave them empty but i'd like a BlueRay drive and a Card reader. But the market for these are so wide it feels, havn't been able to work out witch one

Upgrading:
SLI with the GPU, it'll be cheaper by then and it's the kind of card that would last.
Getting more RAM

Solution
The cooler isn't very good and I see little to no point in getting the Dominator Platinum sticks when the Vengeance Pro sticks are just as good for less. Also, a storage drive is highly recommended for a RAID setup. Here is a counter-build for about the same money -

This build has built-in Wireless AC with almost the same overclockability as the Gigabyte board, 1TB SSD for less with a 3TB hard drive for both storage and backup, a much higher efficiency and more powerful PSU since you wanna go SLI later down the line.

I have also picked out a water-cooling optimized case, though sadly, there are no waterblocks for the GTX 970, due to the fact that there is no reference card available (Titan cooler, not just blower fan on the right). I have also added Windows 8.1 OEM since all users who purchased it will get Windows 10 free on release.

Let me know what you think.

OP, I personally love your build. I guess you could put in a BluRay drive into one of your bays depending on your feel of it.
