I bought a pc a few months ago with an OEM install of Windows 8 on it (it was in the sales after Christmas and worked out cheaper than building it myself) with the intention of upgrading the hardware in it. A few months down the line and I find myself wanting to run SLI and my current motherboard doesn't support SLI. I was wondering if I could move my install of windows across to a new motherboard with out any real issues as my friend had an issue moving his version of windows 7(OEM) across to a new mother board. Do i need to repurchase windows/ring up Microsoft and see if they give me a new key for windows or will it work with out any issues.
