Why does my pc keep restarting after i installed a new graphics card?
My specs are:

Nvidia Geforce GT 730 2gb

Amd A8 6600k 3.9Ghz-4.2Ghz
500w Power supply
8gb ram
1TB HDD
Gigabyte GA-F2A58M-HD2

I have updated all my drivers and my bios and it displays the no signal picture and restarts about once every hour or so.
Can anyone please help me out ?

Solution
It's possible that there is a problem with your power supply. Whilst it claims to be 500w it is very, very bad quality. You should replace it regardless of whether it's the cause of your present trouble.

As you can see in the PSU tier list http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2185279/power-supply-tier-list.html yours is tier 5 which is basically the worst you can get.

You don't have to spend much to get a much better unit. For your system any of these will be fine as they are much better quality and will supply stable voltages for your components.

Have you disabled the onboard video in the BIOS? If not, try that.
If that doesn't work try
1. completely removing all video card drivers from your PC with this tool http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
2. then reboot and just install the drivers for the GT 730. Keep the Radeon graphics disabled in the BIOS.

Hope this helps. You may need to remove the GT 730 to perform step 1. If you do, reboot, then switch off, install the GT 730 and install the drivers for just that card.

Otherwise, your build looks OK, everything should be compatible. Who is the manufacturer of your graphics card so I can check there's not any flaws with that model. I know the processor on it is NVIDIA but someone else will have their name on it for example EVGA, Palit or Zotac
