I'll be using a i5 4690 (not K) and MSI GTX970. I plan to use this PC for the next 4 years+.

Since I don't intend to overclock, I'm wondering if it's worth spending any extra money on the motherboard or will ASRock H97 Pro4 do just fine?
I was looking at Fatal1ty H97 Performance. Seems to have a better sound card and 15μ Gold Contact in VGA PCIe Slot (PCIE2) - would this make any difference in long run (quality-wise, since gold contacts usually last longer)? Is all this really worth spending extra 20€ (25% more)?

Solution
No, H97 P4 will do just fine. Better sound card is not really that better (worth for extra 20 Euros in that sense), and gold contacts claim to have better performance (they don't have anything better in real world actually), so that won't make any difference too. Maybe F-Killer will last you 12 years and P4 8-10 years, but that's about it in terms of quality :)
