Hello,

I usually hibernate my computer at night and when I came in my office this morning my screen displayed the "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Bot device and press a key" message. This is the first time this machine has ever displayed this message and I've had it for just over a year now. It is a custom built computer from iBUYPOWER.

Here are the specs:
1 x Case Corsair Graphite 600T Gaming Case - Special Edition White
1 x Processor Intel® Core™ i7-4770K Processor (4x 3.50GHz/8MB L3 Cache) - Intel® Core™ i7-4770K
1 x Processor Cooling Liquid CPU Cooling System [Intel] - Standard 120mm Fan
1 x Memory 16 GB [8 GB x2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - Corsair or Major Brand
1 x Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 - 2GB - Single Card
1 x Free Stuff [FREE In-Game Voucher] - $75 Value In-Game Currencies: Hawken, Planetside 2, and World of Tanks ($25 for each title) - Free with purchase of NVIDIA GeForce GTX650 or above
1 x Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 -- 2x PCIe 3.0 x16, 4x USB 3.0, 6x SATA-III 6Gb/s
1 x Power Supply 650 Watt -- NZXT HALE82N-SI / 80+ Bronze
1 x Primary Hard Drive 64 GB ADATA SP900 SSD - Single Drive
1 x Optical Drive [12x Blu-Ray] LG BLU-RAY Reader, DVD±R/±RW Burner Combo Drive - Black
1 x Flash Media Reader / Writer 12-In-1 Internal Flash Media Card Reader/Writer - Black
1 x Sound Card 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard
1 x Network Card Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100)
1 x Operating System Windows 8 + Office 2010 Trial - 64-bit

I also have a 2nd Corsair SSD 120G, a BENQ 27" monitor and an ASUS 21" monitor.

I haven't tried anything yet, but I wanted a list of things to try when I get home this evening from work.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

be sure your boot device is in the correct sata port on the board [should be in sata port 0 or 1 depending on how its stated on your board] and its listed as first boot device in the bios

Thanks, I'll be sure to double check that.
