you could if the rams are from the same manufacturer,have the same timings and voltages .. if you take a kingston and mix it with corsair it could cause problems .. its best you leave the non gaming rams and stay with the ones you have because they will most definitely slow down the other rams

this is my pc but with gtx 750 I sc

most likely the gaming rig has 1600mhz ram and above and the everydays sytem has like 1333mhz ram which is slower .. when you put a 1 stick of 1333mhz with another stick of 1600mhz the 1600mhz slows down to the speed of the 1333mhz one .
thats what im trying to tell you so if you put the other stick in there thining you will have better performance because you have more
ram you are dreaming .. it will just have more ram and slower in terms of fsb

so should I do it or no and how do I know the MHz of the ram in the other computer?

just open the case and look at the ram stick for numbers such as 400,533,667,800 ..

400 = 800mhz
533 = 1066mhz
667 = 1333mhz
800 = 1600mhz

or you can downlaod a prgram called cpu z and run it and check the memory section and you will see the memory fsb

no it wont slow down the pc it will just make the memory bandwidth smaller and will only affect memory reliant applications like games for example .. desktop functions will be normal but games and programs that uses alot of data.. the fact that lenovo makes both the pc does not mean they have the same ram .. they are for two different purposes so most likey the gaming pc have gskill,corsair,kingston HyperX or mushkin gaming ram while the normal desktop have something like a normal samsung or kingston ram .. just look at the stick and you will know if they have the same rams

that's so dumb you would think it would increase performance but I guess not lol so are you suggesting I don't do it? how much of a difference would it make?

ram dont generall increase the system speed unless you add more at the same speed .. and i am suggesting that you dont mix the rams .. you wont see much difference to be honest but it will never the less performing less than it can and i know you dont want you want every bit of performance out of your system ,, you will take like a 2%-3% performance hit in games

you can add it if its 1600mhz and is from the same manufacturer .. for example kingston hyperx 1600 with kingston 1600 ..
dont go kingston with gskill
or
corsair with mushkin .. do you understand
