Hi,

Attached is a gaming build I am going to build, however due to financial reasons I have to try to reduce the price. So I was wondering what I could change to make this build cheaper but still perform relatively good for gaming. What I was thinking was getting a not as good graphics card but I am not sure what to get so any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

This is the build I am trying to cut down the price for:

Thanks for your time!

Not much to change here. You could sacrifice a little case quality and save about $20.

GPU wise, not much to do that would be roughly equivalent in performance. An R9-290 maybe. GTX970 is best performance for the money at the moment, but very hard to find one available.

Couldn't cut down much w/o eliminating the 970, but got it $20 cheaper w/o reducing performance:

is there any other GPU that will be able to handle most games on a high setting, say maybe a GTX760 or something?

Yes there are many, R9 280 for eg is a good deal for $210 (GB version), and is better than GTX 760. Look up some benchmarks, it can run on high with decent FPS on almost any modern title, with low-moderate AA (not garuanteed with every title).
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($209.99 @ NCIX)

What resolution are you looking to play at?

ncix.com has a couple R9 280X's on special this week for <$250 with rebates that would do well at 1080P.

I'd suggest:
280X@ $230 - http://www.ncix.com/detail/xfx-radeon-hd-r9-280x-ff-910...
280X@ $240 - http://www.ncix.com/detail/diamond-radeon-r9-280x-1000m...

I would be playing at 1080P.
