I posted a thread here recently about the problems I have been having with my graphics cards and while I had thought I had found a fix, it turns out I was wrong. It has been nothing but hell recently. I am talking crash after crash. BSOD, "display driver shuts down but has recovered", complete black screens with awful noise - you name it. If my cards even got to 55 degrees they were at risk of shutting down.
After doing some research, it turns out it was the new CCC drivers. I went back to 13.12 and my rig is running beautifully again. No problems whatsoever. I just finished a burn test and my cards hummed beautifully along at 80 degrees with no problem whatsoever.
I just thought I would create this thread to let any AMD users know that if you are having trouble with your graphics cards, the 14.xx CCC drivers are the first place you should look.
They suck for a lot of people. This newest batch in particular has been giving certain users trouble but rolling back to 14.4 didn't fix it for me either. 13.12 works great though. Anyway, just thought I would put this out there.
