Hello. So im building a new gaming rig, and I need your help. Price has to be around 800$. I am thinking about getting this one:

dont want to use old cpu and mb that are dead. use 1150 mb and cpu so that you can get parts for them in 4-5 years. also the power supply is a no name unit.

Although the older parts aren't the best choice, they are still quite capable, and might help on the budget.
Afaik, Codegen offers PSU-shaped objects that should generally not be attached to delicate electronics, such as computer components. A quality PSU made by Seasonic (their own, XFX, some Antec) or Superflower (Rosewill Capstone, Kingwin Lazer, and EVGA G2) would be the best choice there.

if you have a local micro center the 4590 is 160.00. look at the h97 mb.

^No argument there; get the newer generation if you can afford them. You may get up to a 10% performance improvement in some things. Most games are more dependent on the graphics card though, so improvements, if any, will be smaller.
