Recently my computer has not been turning on. It will turn on sometimes but its random. Everything was working fine. I was thinking it might be the mother board its an Asus Z87 - K i replaced it with a M5A97. It turns on everytime now but it will not show video. Mouse and keyboard are not lighting up as well. I keep checking all the wire and plugs and everything seems to be fine.

Asus M5A97
MSI GTX 770
2 8GB sticks Kingston RAM

So you went from a asus Z87 socket 1150 to an asus M5a97 socket am3+ ?

What is your power supply? i'm guessing that you just moved everything over from the old build to the new motherboard. If you have a good friend see if you can barrow their power supply to test you build out with.

I actually switched my PSU in the process I still have my old one I can give a try when I get home. My friend was building a PC at my house it's his motherboard and PSU I'm using. The only info I have about the PSU is the current one is 750w and my old on is I think 600w
