Is anyone using an Asus P8Z68-V Pro (non gen3) with a GTX 970?
I’ve read somewhere that the BIOS doesn’t detect them. I would like to get a GTX 970 but am reluctant to change to socket 1150 and lose my i7 2600k.

the x68 chipset is not that old. the mb should see the card if it has the newest bios file on it.
P8Z68-V PRO BIOS 3603(for Win7 & Win8)
or the bios file before it?? both should be new to post the newer gpu.
