For over a month, this keeps happening. I fixed it once because my laptop had somehow switched from auto connect to proxy server. I switched online security, and it was finally working better and faster. Now it's back to saying I need to check my router or reset the router; but all other wifi devices are working fine. I've gone into the network adaptor, and it looks fine. I've tried all the things it suggests, and I find nothing. I am using AVG, but nothing can update because "you're not connected to the internet". What am I missing? Why won't it connect, even when I use a hardwire LAN rather than using the wifi?
I am connected to the internet, but I can't go online because it says "not connected".
