Can someone please explain how to install a second monitor to my computer? I am a novice so I'm a bit confused with this. My specs are

GPU- R9 280x 3GB
CPU- i5-3570k
MOBO- z77 extreme 4
Monitor (1)- ASUS VX238H 23"
Monitor (2)- ASUS VX238H 23"

I'm worried because the r9 280x only has one HDMI slot. Can someone explain to me if I can hook up two monitors, and how? Thank you.

You just have to plug your second monitor into one of the other ports on your graphics card (HDMI, DVI, DP etc.)

Plug the monitor cable to any of the GPU's ports.

Hi,
On the back of the card there are multiple connections. Plug the 2nd monitor into one of the available connections. Windows 7 and 8 will automatically turn it on.

I just updated it. I'm worried because the R9 280x only has one HDMI slot.

The R9 280x should have atleast 1 DVI port on it. If your monitor has a DVI port, use that.
To use a VGA monitor, you'll need an adapter to plug your monitor to your graphics card (VGA to DVI)

Yes, but it should have a display port and a DVI.

If your monitor has DVI port, you know you can just plug it in. Otherwise, You'd need a HDMI-DVI adaptor or VGA-DVI adaptor according to your monitor's port.
