Change things but dont make them lose quality id rather pay a little more for a better color or nice quality part.

Get Window 8.1. It is less of a hassle to install Window 8 and then install certain updates to allow you to upgrade to Window 8.1.

Everything is ok if you're willing to pay for some premium products.

No need for an after market cooler for your processor its a locked CPU.

And the PSU is good but is a bit more than what is required also a full tower case is not required for your build a mid tower is enough.

This is a good PSU made by seasonic you can go for this it will save you some money.

I would choose a different case out of personal opinion.

As stated start with 8.1 so you dont have to install 8, then the upgrades, then 8.1.
Also CPU cooler is a nice to have but not needed in your build.

You could get faster ram which will help for a few more FPS in gaming. I prefer gskill over kingston.

Outside of that it is really a good build, balanced spending on parts, no bottlenecks, good brands, very nice.

I would not recommend faster RAM as it makes really no difference in games. I recommend 1600mhz. Or 1866 if it costs the same.

I would get a smaller case for sure. No way does this build warrant a full tower at all.

Unless your electricity is REALLY expensive then get a normal Bronze XFX PSU. Same great quality for ALOT less money. Plus computers spend most of their time at idle anyway(WAY out of range for good efficiency) so a platinum PSU on a normal build will save NO money vs. a Bronze unit. The only time a Platinum PSU makes a difference will be with a full 100% load 24/7 machine like a bitcoin mining rig, or a folding rig. For a gaming rig, yo uwill never see that added efficiency make any real difference.

Yes i agree ^ faster ram will not give any performance boost in games no FPS increase faster ram and ocing the ram is useful while rendering.

You definitely are paying an unnecessary premium on certain parts.

Im seeing a lot of "unbalanced" parts like £40 cases and stuff I want every part to be high quality if that makes sense

There is no reas a 40pound case will not be high quality. There are VERY high quality cases for under that price.

High price doesn't always mean high quality. Look at how many Cadillacs GM has recalled.
