Hello!

I noticed that my ram cards that should be 1333mhz are running at 400-600mhz frequency, i don't think this is normal so i had to ask.

Here are my cards:
2x http://www.memoryamerica.com/hmt125u6tfr8c-h9.html (stock)
2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (aftermarket)

I went to bios and changed "dram frequency" from auto to "1333mhz" but it didn't change anything.

is there something else i can do?

Thank you in advance :)

What program are you looking at to check your memory frequency?

downlaod a program called cpu z and run it on your pc and tell me whats is the ram frequency in that program .. ddr3 is double pumped so 400 means 800mhz 667 means 1333mhz and 800 means 1600mhz ..do a check and update me

hey, i am using cpu-z but i should have checked the forum before creating a new thread this seems to be normal. although my aftermarket TeamElite cards are running at 400mhz while the stock no brands are running at 600mhz, that's still confusing tho.

i actually think they all are running at 667mhz which should be normal, i was looking at "JEDEC #1, #2, #3, #4" and thought "#1 was the mhz for 1 card and #2 the mhz for the second card and so on, that's why i said the cards are running at 400-600mhz. but it seems i had it all wrong after digging deeper and noticing JEDEC 2-5 ( http://i.imgur.com/rJtiqKJ.png ) is info for 1 card only right?

http://i.imgur.com/DNHg7Fv.png this is normal right?

Sorry for wasting your time and not doing my research before opening a thread, and thank you for being so dedicated and helpful.

ok i used a phone to view the images and all readings is right ..always focus on the bandwidth to know how fast the rams are actually going to work .. the jdec is basically showing the effective frequency with each latency number with the best speed at 9.. its perfectly normal
