But when i turn on my computer all i get on the monitor is a white underscore and it does not blink...that is all. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and have trieD pressing F12 etc..but nothing. I have put in the windows CD that came with the PC and it is still the same screen....i honestly dont know what to do.

Did it ever boot ?

Sounds like something got jiggled loose in getting from builder to you.

Call the builder....or bring back to store

You sure? I only picked it up today, i was told that it may be the wireless mouse and keyboard and because of that i cant press f12 etc to open the bios.

if it wasnt the bios then you would reach to a screen that says no boot device found if you had not installed the os yet and if you had installed the os already it would boot to windows wether the keyboard and mouse was detected or not ... do you understand ? it would not be stuck at the cursor that is suppose to be blinking by the way

I don't understand what using side buttons has to do with say a GFX card or wire that has jiggled loose. I solve this problem 90% of the time by removing every cable every RAM stick, every card and reseating.

In any case you bought a pre-built ... the person / company who built it is responsible for making it turn on. It was working when it let their shop, something happened along the way, you paid for support, why not use it ?

The thing is i am not that confident with playing with the insides :3
Could it be the wireless keyboard?

why dont you just try a usb or ps2 keyboard then .. what i was saying was even if the peripherals was not being detected the machine should have passed the bios screen and given you the no boot device error just load up windows
