MY SOUNDCARD
IDT High-Definition Audio Card

This has been happening the day I got this headset, which was two weeks ago.
It's really annoying for my friends because we play Counter-Strike together, and when someone in our party is last alive against 3 people, there's just random music (coming from ME, even though it's on just about 1 volume). They can also hear THEMSELVES through skype. Anybody have a fix? If I have to install a new driver, just note that I like having the "Enhancements" tab for my external speakers that I use when I have people over for REALLY LOUD MUSIC!

pls halp?

That's an issue either with your specific unit, or the product as a whole. The sound is leaking out and into the mic, because the pads don't create a tight enough seal. If you can, get pads that fit your head better. If not, well...In my experience, pretty much any hardware labeled "gaming" is all show and no value for the ridiculously high prices. Get a decent desk mic and a decent headset, usually marketed for cinema. Good brands are audio-technica, sennheiser, and bose.
