I just installed a new AMD fx 8350.
I also bought a "ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 - 150 Watt" for cpu cooler
and "Gigabyte ATX Socket AM3+ AMD 970 Chipset 2000MHz DDR3 SATA III 6Gbps Ready AMD 9 Series FX Motherboards GA-970A-D3P "
I also have 16gb Ram

I am wondering about my cpu temp. I did a fresh install of windows and it seems to not be running as fast as I want it to run.
Here is a pic to show you temp. I just want to know if its normal. I took it while installing a fresh install of Office 2013 but even before and after its generally around the same, maybe little cooler.

I plan on running some games but just want to see your guys thoughts. Thanks!

Would you mind trying a different monitoring software? HWmonitor or RealTemp.

Also run a stresstest with Prime95 to check what your maximum temp is. Idle temps are not really helpful.

Thanks for the response. How long should I run the prime 95 for? I ran it for a few minutes and took a screenshot while using HWmonitor.
