Hi!
I have recently migrated my OS to my new SSD from my HDD. I have cloned only the OS without recovery partitions, because I read somewhere that the cloned recovery partitions would be unusable anyway and because my HDD has 750GB (with about 350 GB of data on it) and my SSD has only 256GB (so I couldn't clone the whole HDD to SSD).
So my question is: can I create recovery partitions - similar to the recovery partitions on the HDD - on the SSD using the cloned Windows 8?
Thank you!
Best regards,
José.

P.S.: The reasons I want to do this is: 1. I want to format my old partition on HDD with old OS on it so I have more space for data; 2. The update to Windows 8.1 is failing to install and I have read it might be because of the other OS on the HDD...

I would have just cloned over the OS and Recovery. I don't see why the recovery wouldn't work?
