In the BIOS, under "Sata Mode," there is an option for Raid rather than AHCI.

However, beyond that, I do not see anything for how to setup the specific raids.

I have six drives. I would like four of them to be raid10, and two of them to be raid0.

I can provide screenshots if that would help.

In the bios you would set it to "Raid". Then in the raid setup tool you select the drives you want in raid and what raid type you want.

^To expand on that a little, turn on RAID mode in the BIOS first. Then, on the mobo driver disk there should be a utility that is actually used to configure the RAID (may be an Intel utility). You run that utility to actually define your RAID, and indicate which drives to use in it. Your motherboard manual (available on MSI's web site if you've lost it) should have instructions for this.

There is no specific information in the printed manual related to raid installation.

The manual online manual does not seem to apply either, as crtl+I does not do anything at boot or in the BIOS, and I can never get to the screens presented.

I have gone through all of the utilities included on the MSI drivers and utilities disk and I see nothing related to raid anywhere in any of the programs.

Is there a way to setup the raid through windows once I set those drives to raid on the motherboard? Or is there some other way to access raid setup on the BIOS?
