AMD Overdrive Overheating Help? (FX-8350)

So, I recently have invested in a new computer build, with an AMD FX-8350 Processor, I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo to help cool the processor.
I used AMD Overdrive in order to see how stable my rig is by using its included "stability test" when I used it, after about 10 minutes or so, I got a pop up on the bottom right corner of my screen warning me that my CPU was reaching 67 Degrees centigrade, however, in Overdrive, my thermal margin was still about 11 Celsius. By worry I stopped the test a few minutes later. To my understanding around 65 Degrees C is about the max for this processor.
Is my processor overheating? Or is it just warning me because I am reaching the overheat mark within about 10 degrees?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm running at stock speed, but I've even gotten a notification of 65C on Counter Strike: Global Offense, which of all games I'd think would have the least likeliness to overheat on, while I've never gotten anything of the sort on games such as Skyrim, Various Call of duty games, and Saints Row The Third, all on max settings as 1280x720p resolution, and in some cases recording with Bandicam.
Also, thank you for your quick replies, I greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... Could it be the fact that there is too much thermal paste applied on the cpu? When installed the first time the person who helped me seemed to put a really hefty amount on, and when I removed it to re-apply it was all over the place so I put less on, but it possibly could still be too much... Ever since the reapplication I get about 55C or so in CounterStrike, but that's on Med-High Settings. This is my first build, so I wouldn't be surprised if I put too much on.

Alrighty, I guess that may be the problem... Thank you for helping me, i'll pick you as the solution.
Edit: Oh, also, could it make much of a temperature difference if the fan for the 212 is installed towards the rear of the case? I couldn't fit it in the front due to my ram which is too tall...

must be to much paste , i use a cheap deepcool gmx 300 and temps never get over 47c (fx8530) stressing all cores @4.4 the 212 should cool better than my GMX 300 , I have the ffan blowing towards the rear case fan so all the hot air is evacuated quickly
