When should you insatall the Liquid Cooler in a new build and BIOS install

Hi, imagine you have a Corsair h100 and a Corsair 450D the problem is ¿when do you have to install it? For example, when you have the motherbord with your ram and cou installed you attach the cooler to the cpu already? or you wait to install it at the end of the build.
And when should you update the bios? Can i update the bios without installing windows? Why would i want that?

I would install your motherboard and CPU in the case before trying to install the H100 unless you have a second set of hands because it will be difficult to set the motherboard in place while holding the reservoir. Just remember to install the back plate before you install your motherboard.

Do you have a reason for updating the bios? The general rule is if it ain't broke don't fix it. But if you do need to I would do it before you install your OS, you will need a host PC to get the new BIOS on a flash drive in order to flash it over. Your motherboard manual should tell you how to do it, it's fairly simple.
