Sims 4 has been randomly crashing for the last couple of days and I absolutely cannot figure out why. I bulit this computer about a month ago and everything was fine for about 3 weeks and now I am having major problems when playing sims 4. Here is what is happening:

Load sims 4, everything is fine. Playing the game for about 30-45 mintues after a computer restart has no problems. After the 30-45 minute period is up, the graphics start to freeze. It's like the graphics card or software is locking up and nothing is being procesed. (sometimes it goes to a black screen, but most of the time it just freezes the picture while you can still hear the audio to continue to work fine).

When it gets locked up the only thing that seems to fix it is Ctrl Alt Del and opening the task manager. Once the TM is opened the game is no longer frozen and I am able to play for a little bit longer, but it always happenes again. Each time it happens the time inbetween crashes gets smaller and smaller until it gets to the point that the game will only run for 5 seconds or less and then it will freeze again.

** Just to clarify again, this was not happening a week ago. **

I have searched all over the net for a fix and I have tried several things including:

Uninstalling/Reinstalling Orgin and Sims 4
Terminating any other program running in the background
Turning off Origin-in-game
Running the game as admin
Running the game in offline mode
Uninstalling/Reinstalling the graphics drivers
Running the game on the stock graphics off of the motherboard

Nothing at all seems to help this. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanks for the help in advance!

My specs are:

Intel i5-4690 K 3.5 Ghz
8 gb corsair vengeance 1600 mhz
Asus maximus vii
Gtx 660
120gb intel ssd with 1tb Seagate hdd
Windows 7 sp1
