Hello, my PSU (thermaltake TR2 600w) started doing this coil whine noise about 4 days ago when playing games. I first thought it was the GPU (ati radeon 6770), but I checked two times with an opén case and it was clearly the PSU. I read it's generally not harmful, just annoying, but after it starts, it gets louder by the minutes, and at a certain point both my keyboard and mouse stop working. Sometimes their lights stay on, and some others they turn off. Windows does not say that any device was disconnected as this happens, and the rest of my systems keeps on working just fine. I tried different USB ports but the problem persists.

All of the components are 2.5 years old and always worked fine. The only change it had was the mouse about 1 month ago, switched from a generic HP mouse to a Dragunov Elephant.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

The Thermaltake TR2 series is very very poor and should be replaced.

What do you mean by poor? This is the first issue I've ever had, but if this is a bad omen I wouldn't mind replacing it. However, I don't know which PSU would be suitable for my system (http://puu.sh/cfg7a/f8804974f3.png). I bought this PSU with a possible system upgrade in mind, but as of today I will not be upgrading it at all. If you could guide me with some examples I'd really appreciate it
