Idle pc question

I had a few quick questions. I built my pc the other day and while I ran into minor problems everything is working now. Windows 8.1 one is installed.

I downloaded speed fan as well as rpm95? I think it is (To stress test the pc) No temperature went above 47 degrees Celsius I assume that is good?

Lastly with my radeon r9 270 I received a coupon for three free games. I began installing them, and left my computer running in order to download them.

I watched t.v. for about 1.5 hours. Returned and my computer was off (no noise no led from fans etc)

Figuring there may have been an update of some sort I tapped the power button on my pc, and it turned back on as I had left it.

Is it a power saver mode or something?

Yes. Go in and change it to how you want it to run.

Yes, it's called Economic Energy. It saves power , the battery won't give the full voltage stress to every hardware so the battery will last longer. You can't play games at high FPS , nor you will allow the CPU to do heavy jobs, otherwise it will make the PC shut down.

All you need to do , is to click the battery icon in tasks bar ( bottom right ). 'Economy Energy Mode' should be checked, if yes, then change it to 'Normal Usage', everything would be working great though, and you would hear the hell out of your fan roaring :D
