Hello forum,

Going through an upgrade can be very questionable experience -

Info: Upgrading to a new MOBO that supports 3-way SLI because I got a GREAT deal on a third GTX 780.

Questions:

Does this motherboard support 3-way SLI? I've been reading up on it and cannot find a definite answer.

Model #: ASUS ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards MAXIMUS VI FORMULA
Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EM4SHA0/ref=ox_sc_s...

(If you do not suggest this motherboard to be paired up with my current i7 4770K please recommend another that support 3-way SLI.)

This might be obvious but when upgrading to a new motherboard will I need to re-install Windows 8.1? I've heard that an Intel - Intel motherboard shouldn't do much, However, the drivers may have to be uninstalled. I have no problem doing a clean install but would love to know.

That's all folks, thank you in advance.

Oh yes that motherboard will do just fine with that SLI. As for the OS, you shouldn't have any troubles with it, besides installing new drivers.
