Hey!
I've recently lost one of my XMS3 2GB CL7 RAM Modules, don't know how but I did. Anyways, when I went online looking for the XMS3 ones with cl7 timings, I couldn't find them. And even on the Corsair website the ones with the lowest latency were CL8. And since my mobo is dual-channel only, I'm currently stuck with 4 gigs of RAM... :(

Does anybody know what happened to these? Also will it be a problem if I run 1x XMS CL9 and three CL7's, all of them XMS by Corsair? I know you're not supposed to mix and match memory, but really the only thing separating them is their timings.

It's really a shame I can't find them, as I was really satisfied with them.

- Thanks

Sticks from different sets will not necessarily be compatible. Since RAM is generally guaranteed for life, just ask Corsair to replace the set.

There's nothing wrong with the modules, I physically lost one of them and I can't find it. Also, if you read my post I'm thinking about adding 1x CL8 XMS3 module, they're essentially the same, voltage and speed. Except for the timings.

Oh..... when you said lost ....thot you mean like "yeah we lost grandad last year".

But gain, if they ain't in the same package, they ain't guaranteed to work together.

2GB has fallen outta general usage as no one building w/ 4 GB for a number of years now.... market demand doesn't support continued production.... e-bay be best bet

The thing is I've seen dozens of 2 gb modules from Corsair, just not the damn 7-8-7 timings, I guess I'll just have to accept that they're discontinued, and look up eBay, Thanks anyways. Interesting interpretation though, hehe
