hey all, Im going to build a new PC, I was hoping for some guidence.
http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I am about to pull the trigger and buy these parts. Is there anything ells I will need just to get it running? I know I need a CPU cooler but little stuff like that have to wait a week or two. But as far as everything I've chosen all I need to do is buy it, and put it all together correct? Or do i need to buy any cords or connectors to set it up? any advice will help, thank you

No need for CPU cooler, one comes with the processor. I am not sure how good Cougar power supplies are (never really see them be bought) so can't comment on that. I would spend a lot less on a case, perhaps the Corsair 300R Windowed or the Rosewill Redbone U3.

So another question would be, what is some good thermal paste for the cpu? Or where should I get some?

The CPU Cooler should come with thermal paste.
